As a not-for-profit organization, Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital has always depended on the generosity
of its friends and benefactors for donations to help in the running of the hospital.
Since its inception, Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital is grateful to have received tremendous support from all quarters. Since 1981 till 2007, a total of RM21 million in donations have been raised. These donations were used to lighten the burden of many needy cancer patients besides funding the purchase and upgrading various state-of-the-art treatment machines. A total of RM8 million has been dispersed since 1985 for needy cancer patients while RM13 million was to subsidized the purchase of treatment machines and upgrading of hospital facilities.
There are various funds set up by the hospital; they are:
Strategic Implementation Fund (SPIF)
Was set up with the aim to support our Strategic Plan of being the comprehensive cancer hospital for the community.
Was set up with the main aim to provide medical subsidy to deserving and needy patients.
To constantly upgrade medical knowledge of our medical team and to support hospital research and development on cancer treatments.
To to subsidize or aid in the development and maintenance of hospital.
Every contribution towards Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital is received with much gratefulness and gratitude.
